Case Study: EXPOL When leading insulation brand, EXPOL invested in new tech to recycle excess polystyrene into durable, long-life products, Matter was tasked with spreading the word. Our goal was to create a social media campaign that would not only raise awareness of EXPOL's closed-loop manufacturing process, but also encourage active participation from the community. Key results: Launch campaign generated hundreds of positive engagements and comments, raising awareness of EXPOL’s sustainability efforts.Donations flooded in to EXPOL’s recycling stations, located in hardware stores around Aotearoa. The EXPOL Household Polystyrene Recycling Programme now recycles 1,000 cubic meters of consumer polystyrene waste each month.
